Family stories, everyone has them. They tell where you come from. They hold
secrets to who you are. But if they are not captured today, they may be lost
forever. Story Telling America provides a video documenting service for
Family Oral Histories that not only captures the stories, but also the
expressions and emotions evoked as they are told. How often do we say, or
hear said, "We should get Uncle Charlie's story on tape. He lived through
the Great Depression, fought in a world war, experienced the most prolific
developments in technology the world has ever seen...and he's one of the
funniest people we know. We should have gotten his story on tape."

A member of the Jarding family felt that his parents, aunts, and uncles had
experiences that he didn't want to be lost. Subsequently, a series of
interviews were conducted, and the family members described their
experiences growing up in what Tom Brokaw called the "Greatest Generation."
